Depression might interfere with sexual desire but it has little bearing on my wanting to submit in general. In fact, submitting and the feelings of completeness and the love and devotion of an appreciative Dom has been known help keep me in remission.

and not all meds kill sexual appetite. It's one of the major things I went over with my doctor along with not wanting to gain weight so she put me on meds that would not have those side effects. I've had neither so far and actually just the opposite.

I think the "Master" needs to go back and do his homework.

Now that some of you have chilled a little, and are not so agressive to this Master, and some are actually having a smile now, even a laugh, Master will post something sensible, this Master has made it clear, the depressions he has been involved with , are only with his own slaves, and has he knows everything about them, as from the day they were born, non have had serious illnesses, mental or otherwise, that Master has got drawn into (Depression ) the debates and dialogue here.

However this may interest some of you, The single most important research study in the past year in the area of clinical therapeutics of bipolar disorder was conducted by Geddes and colleagues at our famouse Oxford University, here in England.

Using a randomized open-label design (no placebo control group and subjects knew which medications they were receiving), the BALANCE study sorted 330 subjects with bipolar disorder type I into three treatment groups: lithium alone, valproate (Depakote) alone, or combination treatment with both lithium and valproate. The outcome measures were time to recurrence of a major mood episode, either mania or depression. The study design allowed for an extended, two year follow-up on these subjects. This time frame allows for meaningful assessment of genuine prophylactic effects. The results found that combination therapy was most effective, marginally more so that lithium alone, but significantly greater than valproate monotherapy. The interpretation of the data supports the unique efficacy of lithium as the single-most effective mood stabilizer available.

This Master under normal circumstances on the CM website would have no need to write about lithium, or even bi-polar, but has done so, to demonstrate a bit of sincerity here, no doubt Master will have a few more poo, poo him about singing the praise of lithium, indeed not, this Master is no more than the messenger, so DONT SHOOT THE MESSENGER, this time.

Listen mate, your profile says your a Brummi, so I make a lot of allowances for that, but English is my 3rd language but I did study English literature, I have respect for the language, so in the name of all that's holy, don't butcher the language and before you dole out medical advise, know what you are talking about. Depression can have a lot of different causes, some of them are chemical imbalances and they need to be treated with medication, supplementing what the body can't produce by itself. If you have diabetes you use insulin, simple as that. There is no "one fits all" and reading fortune cookies might be fine, it still doesn't make you a medical expert...

I am actually not from your homeland, I'm a resident there, hence me saying that English is my 3rd language.

The world you were looking for is skank, shank to my limited knowledge of English is the shin, why would I think you are a lower part of the leg? Because you wear boots that are in sore need of cleaning?

What you believe is rather irrelevant (to believe is to not know), so fumbling through your scrambled English, I just can't understand what you are saying, maybe you should just try to use it as is intended, language is terribly stubborn, it might not bow to superior dominance, in fact it's not very masterful to appear semi literate and incapable of stringing a sentence together.

There are simple medical facts, doctors studied their chosen and specialized field for a reason, they know how to treat certain conditions, maybe not perfectly but probably better than somebody who's got delusions of grandeur and thinks he can treat something he doesn't even remotely understand.

But as I mentioned in a previous post, if the only tool in a tool box is a hammer, a lot of things will start looking like nails, stay away from the light bulbs...
