If he is that easily frightened, then he should be out of office.

He tried to determine just who he would speak too.

He failed.

Instead of dealing with it, he turns and cancels, like a pouting child would try and cancel a party because he didnt get the toy he wanted.

Should we change the rules officially, and make this a country that decides who may or may not speak based on mob intimidation - and mock and deride those who the mobs successfully dissuade from making scheduled appearances

Seems like you were all huffy about this sort of thing when Giffords was shot, before you found out that it was a leftist who had shot her

It doesnt matter who shot that woman. And the only indication that he was a leftist was one account by a woman who had not seen him in years.

I never got "huffy" about the disruptions... except that the conservatives kept bitching about how this wasnt so and that wasnt so... and no one was bothering to listen. Instead, you were there cheering on the interruptions.

Now you are here cheering on your boy who doesnt have the balls the Democrats had. He should be the man he proclaims himself to be and listen to those who oppose him like they did in the town hall meetings.

How so?? The Occupy movement is all about freedom of speech, freedom of assembly...the only thing most occupied areas don't want are weapons--and that is the freedom most on the right seem to be the most concerned about.

BTW, at Occupy Erie, we have designated the park as a drug and alcohol-free zone. Even supporters are asked to leave if they are under the influence. And in 8 days we have asked the police (the station is right across the street from us) to remove those we behaved in a disorderly manner on two occasions.

Again, the only information about him being a leftist came from a woman he used to party with in college. Pretty easy to see that many guys will tell a woman anything they think will get them into her pants.

Now, what is it about a mob that has him so worried? He has security, there have been no threats against him.

Neither of the typos you identified would have been caught by a spellchecker, but they WOULD HAVE BEEN caught by a professional union typesetter as he punched up the linotype, and it wouldn't have made it into production....
