i do live in the same state i was born in , Florida as for the rest, i smoke, drink rarely and anything else only with Masters permission............. shy[:)]

Yes right now i am fighting to stay put too! But its not like i never left, for 15 years i travelled all across the US Of A visiting clients offices, then i moved to CT only to be sent to Canada to live for a year for work, then to PA, then back to CT, then back to PA and now settled down all nice and cozy back in NY! YIpppeeeeeeeeeeee But hey i still love Texas!

Nope. I was born in New South Wales, and live in Queensland. Brisbane is my home, I've lived here for most of my life.

No, I was born in Illinois and we moved around A LOT. Ended up in Florida 14 years ago.

Yes live 20 miles from where i grew up in WA. Only lived out of state during my college years (CA) and the first 2 years after that (BC).

Yes - My apartment is about 10 miles from the hospital I was born in - only lived out of state while in Navy (Orlando,Florida for 1 year (set your watch in summer by the 4 oclock thunderstorms, then 15 minutes later have sunny blue sky again) and lived in West Springfield, Massachusetts while stationed an hours drive away (all Interstate) at a training facility just north of Hartford, Connecticut) My apartment is about 35 miles from where I grew up ( and my parents still live )

Nope. Born in Jamestown, NY, near Chautauqua. Hilly wine country. Raised near Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Rochester, NY, all Western NY. Snow country. 2 seasons of the year: Winter and the 4th of July. [sm=lol.gif] Very pretty country though. Now living in Dayton, Ohio, near Cincinnati. Friendly people, but rather vanilla. The house is in a suburb, but backs up to a park with 180 acres of trees. Get all sorts of wild life in the back yard. Had a deer family reside there for a few weeks, last year Used to travel a lot on business. Now retired, which is so much better than working for a living, so enjoying Ohio. ~smile~

Born in east central Mississippi, live in south Mississippi and will probably die here. Used to want to live other places, but I have a hole wallowed out here now and I enjoy my life. (some parts of it more than others, of course!) But I've traveled a good bit and been to most of the other states. Home always feels good to me.

Yup. Though I lived out in the Rocky Mt area for 15 yrs and 3 years in NY.

i currently live just outside Washington, DC where i was born. i moved back to this area 37 years after i moved away at the ripe old age of 6 months. Oh, how the memories all came back to me! But seriously, i moved 15 times by the time i was 15 years old and six times more once i got out on my own. my father was in the military. i've lived in DC, MD, VA, NY, NH, MT, and the Azores (off the coast of Portugal)...many of them more than once obviously. Looking back, i think it's safe to say my constant moving had a lot to do with my personality development and social skills. i made and lost so many friends that it became the norm for me to lose touch with people and think nothing of it. i grew up a loner, the new kid on the block, the "odd duck," and always dealing with having the rug pulled out from under me so to speak. It wasn't until i was much older that i realized how this has been a blessing and a curse. anthrosub
