I do laundry, cooking , shopping. Heavy cleaning is down by a woman who comes in every couple of weeks. My back gives out leaning over tubs scrubbing.
He does most car stuff, unless he's too busy when we take it to the shop.
I serve as secretary also, do his banking for him, proofread his letters, advise him on his quotes to customers to make sure he hasn't forgotten stuff. And I also serve as unpaid assistant in the business. I'm not capable of doing a lot of painting, carpentry, or anything heavy like cement work. But I fetch tools from the car, get lunch, go to the store for an extra widget or two. And why it is, that you're always just one shy I haven't figured out. I also do most of the design work when a customer says they need something and he should pick it. Such as colors when they say do it in beige - do you know how many beige shades there are?, or ideas for a railing.
