If it wouldn't be too much trouble, kalikshama, would you be willing to link that study to one of the threads over in the Ask A Submissive section?  I was just writing a response over there and I would be very grateful if that link could be added to help support My theory.

Thank you if you have the time.

Yes.  Exactly.

that his strength and manliness doesn't get lost in the slaveliness? After all, the testosterone is what attracts us in the first place, right?

Just a brief side note, not an attempt to derail. Perhaps shed a different light on the male submissive or offer a different perspective. I am member of a small but highly active group of submissive male body builders ranging in age from about 38 to 60, we meet twice a month and although we try to have serious discussions about D/s and how or why we do not fit the proverbial stereotype we spend most of the evening laughing. George who is a member of CM is a power lifter, 6’ 5” and his weight is massive, his wife is 4’11” and I think he said she weighed 90 pounds; his stories of her deviously creative mind and expertise’s with a single tale have us all in awe each time he tell them, but he point is, throughout or existence (about 6 years) there has never been a comment made about the loss of how we or others perceive the man of us.
Suborning one’s self to the will and authority of another has nothing at all to do with the loss of testosterone or any other of the chemicals or characteristics that make us the man or men we are.
