Status: offline 		it's a visa card and apparently every time you use it the bank donates money to the rescue. The rescue is non profit and it has a shit ton of costs come out of its pockets every month, not only do they provide water and food for the volunteers, some of us bring the food in too, I work there Thursday's and Sunday's and try to donate stuff when I can, they take in dogs in all kinds of medical conditions, and some came from out of country, one dog came all the way from tiwan. Some of the dogs are dying, so they will not be rehomed, Homeward Bound keeps them and cares for them till they die, or are put to sleep. And no dogs are put to sleep unless they're that ill, unlike high kill shelters.

I signed up for the credit card, and I am trying to get others to sign up, now I am just waiting to see if I am approved.

Status: offline 		Thanks Pam:) It's a free bump at least. I love credit cards, and if I was just merely ok with them, this is certainly one I'd use, even if just for emergencies like you're flat broke and the car needs gas or your ass is walking home.

Status: offline 		Hate to say it but I am against things like this. I am the customer, I will donate my money when and to whom I please. Anything alse affects the bottom line and therefore comes out of my pocket and I don't like my pocket picked.

You have to understand that the customer pays for everything, no exceptions. How about your cable TV "provider" gives some of your money to those who seek to ban kink ? Bet they do but they don't tell you about it.

You want to pay that's fine, but remember this about business, as people go around thinking certain businesses should have to pay fines, taxes or anything else, a business has ONE source of money. The customer.

well duh. if you get this card, you get it because you want to donate to the golden retriever rescue.

i'm not a fan of credit cards, but eh... people use them, and they might as well send 10cents to a good cause.

BTW: Major kudos to TFTB for not just talking the talk but for walking the walk when it comes to volunteer work !!
