I went into the area today where sick or injured animals or animals that can't be kept in general population are kept at the rescue today and I was mugged with offers of affection, one jumped up on the park bench and claimed me as hers and wasn't letting any one else sit there, cause there was no room lol. I had 5 dogs all hoping I'd love on them and you know I did. A bunch that could reach me were all trying to lick my face or lick my hands, and I have not had that many kisses in a long time. One of them decided he'd grab the back of my dress and yank on that, but a quick stop that got the dog to let go. I swear it was almost like I was a steak and these dogs were ganging up on me, but unlike the steak would have I faired much better cause they didn't wanna eat me they wanted my love. So, when was the last time you got love mugged?[:D]

at the moment it's 8am. I have my boy westie on my lap, curled up and snoring. Every time I move he licks my arm briefly before curling up a bith tighter and snoozing again. My bichon girl is on the back of the sofa, her head on my shoulder, snoring gently into my ear. Love mugging happens all day, every day in my house [:D]

Yep. Here too. The two cairn terrors. (I spelled it right), the lhasa apso, the flame point himalayan, the pandalion (our black and white long hair kitteh) the long-haired calico, and the grey kitteh. Also, lots of cleaning, scooping, grooming, and feeding...

You guys are so lucky. After ginger died, we have not gotten another dog, so my doggie love mugging is limited to days I volunteer.

I went to see them again, and I sat down and spent an hour on the ground just petting and talking to them as they swarmed me for attention.
