Hi there. Does anybody know where I can get a hood, preferably leather, which has excellent auditory and visual deprivation qualities, but leaves the mouth free, or has a removable gag piece. Much obliged! Sx ( preferably a uk seller! for speed of delivery!)

I know a few good rubber ones which you could combine with earplugs: Elena's Latex - custom made Cocoon For leather I've heard good things about this place but never tried them: Top To Bottom Leathers

Wow... the ones from Elenas in particular look amazing! Aye I guess the earplugs is an option.. I'm pretty keen on trying to achieve total auditory deprivation if possible. Thank you so much :) S

Silly putty will take care of the auditory. Be careful with that though, if you don't do it right you could rupture an eardrum during removal, not likely but possible. But then there were such hoods made for mental patients or something that used embedded headphones and noise to isolate. I don't really see how you can be sensory deprived with an open mouth though. Either way there was a movie about that a long time ago. It was NOT Altered States, at least I'm fairly sure. There was a suit and it was of course specially designed just for that. It was floated in water and everything was precisely controlled to avoid any sensory input, even the temperature of the air breathed. If I am not mistaken it was used as a punishment for people in some organisation. I can't recall much more detail than that but as usual the organisation aspired to take over the world. Who doesn't ? T^T

Hi Termyn8or. Thanks for the tip. The reason I'd like the openmouth is because I have a gag that I really like, and works really well, so would like to combine the two. And well, yes, total world domination is on my 'to do' list as well :) Sx

I think this is one of the best leather isolation hoods on the market...http://www.mr-s-leather.com/HT082/the-puffy-hood.html But it's expensive! You can order it with or without the mouth opening.

You won't get the full noise dampening effect with an open mouth. Opening your mouth is actually a trick to hear better, since ears can also hear any sound that will make the skull vibrate. So if you do need a open mouth (for Queening?), you need the headphones making a little noise, doens't have to be much, to drown out any faint sounds they may hear through their mouth.
