TSA has got to go.

Not satisfied with fumbling through Americans’ private possessions, one TSA screener saw fit to make a humiliating joke about the contents, writing a personal message on a TSA inspection note after finding a sex toy in writer Jill Filipovic’s luggage.

I doubt this is the first time this kinda thing has happened and i doubt its the last time too... This kinda stuff is why i dont fly anymore, I drive or take other non-airborne means of transportation, even if it takes me several days longer.. Some people ship their stuff ahead of time by other means too, especially since the airlines charge so much now for luggage..

With your sailboat, what kind of security and screening do you need to go from the US to other countries & back? I'm curious about what they do now..

If you are too embarrased to fly with your vibrator, leave it at home. Everyone who checks bags will know its there, and you know they will be checking. The accusation that this was an invasion of privacy is a joke because, as far as luggage goes, there is NO expectation of privacy in an airport.

I cannot tell you how many times Ive had my vibes brought out, or discussed, the last time I took pity on the guy and whispered into his ear exactly what it was

last time I flew, they told me I couldnt wear a thumbcuff necklace, or rather that I couldnt have it showing. she was embarrassed but her supervisor was watching, so I hid it under my sweater.
No invasion of privacy at all. Besides that , I would have laughed it off, I wouldnt give the armchair dickwads something to whine about tho

I have not been outside of the US with the boat since pre-911 so I could not personally say. A few friends who have returned from down-island say security is not a big deal there. But why should it be? Think Iceland. Though OT, I do not personally endorse the security apparatus here in the states as it's not about security but populace compliance.

This is just typical homosapien behavior. When against anyone or any entity, body, group, whatever, every little slip nomatter how trivial us provocation for WW3, a supreme court case, a regime change and a nuclear bombing.

It may well warrant the firing of the employee, or some type of action, but that's not what made it newsworthy.

Had more than one TSA agent open my bag, look around inside, open my "special bag" then blush at the vibe, clamps, cuffs and bullets. I just smile and wait patiently.

This is a self professed feministe... who admitted to laughing about the incident.

For me, its a non-story.

If we are going to call an end to every governmental agency who does something inappropriate.. lets start with the cops.

One dragged a woman from her car... yelling and screaming at her while he forced her to the ground, without letting her get out of her seatbelt.

Or the one who tazed the elderly lady.

Or the one who tazed the kid.

Or the countless other inappropriate actions that occur frequently among the many agencies.

Fire the worker... but dont blame TSA for this.

I just had pet send me up all the toys for coming up (IM gonna go to a pens game weeee) next weekend. customs left me a smiley face on the tape they use to fasten boxes.
ball crushers, cbt stuff, cuffs, floggers, not a single thing missing
I am soooooo excited.

Lilly:) I dont expect everyone to feel the same as me, I have no shame so it doesnt bother me one bit, I know my pet for example, is not so comfy... and in fact was very worried when he realised that customs had gone thru a box 99.9% of which were toys of the pervert kind.
I would hate to have to go thru peoples personal effects/cases/dirty or clean. I probably wouldnt do it myself for worry of freakin somone else out, but I agree its inappropriate, but if it happened to me, Id shrug it.
Different strokes n all that, I can see why you say it..totally
