All of a sudden, the city, which has been supporting the occupy movement, has stated that we are not allowed to sleep in the park, we have to take down the tarps (we had specifically had permission for those tarps) and we can't feed the homeless (that one troubles me the most).  Evidently, we pissed off Congressman Mike Kelly when he was in town last week.

How very 'Republican' of him....

Being disallowed your 1st Amendment rights and behaving like a F-ing human being for the homeless is wrong? What planet does this guy come from? Hope you folks have some lawyers to help sue the city for damages.

facebook.com/pages/Occupy-ERIE-PA Is that the page?

Nope, that address will take you to a page co-opted by Mr. Ron Paul.

Last night, the tarps came down, but we ain't dispersing.  We going to implement our plan for the colder weather which is to rotate people, so that there are 2-3 people at the gazebo, awake, all night.  I find it especially strange that this happened on the very day the Erie Times News did a fairly positive story about the us, featuring one of the occupiers who hasn't been home at all in the entire 10 days.

Well ... I found my way to an Occupy Erie page on facebook that didn't seem Ron Paulish... Do you know what the correct one is?

Also you folks should start pinging the people at Liberty Park For ideas as to how to manage a continuing occupation and the cold at the same time... But that's a pretty neat idea ....small rotating presence.
