Fabulous, when I see that word, I'm so reminded of Nutty Professor and his mom. I think, I'm forever scarred...[:D]

You're lucky, all I get when I hear that word is an image of those stupid gum ads

sub4hire -> RE: Fabulous (10/22/2004 1:30:40 PM)

I think of nothing when I see the word. Wonder what that makes me? Hmm, I use that word a lot too.

srahfox -> RE: Fabulous (10/22/2004 3:34:12 PM)

uhoh.. I don't picture anything either. Of course now I will think about that movie and gum.:)

First I think of Fernando, that Billy Crystal character on Saturday Night Live, but then I remember he said "Marvelous", not fabulous.

So then I think of that kooky British tv show "Absolutely Fabulous"

The word fabulous reminds me of a jingle for an old 'Fab' laundry detergent commercial, and conjures up images of grass stained children with muddy doggie paw prints impressed upon thier clothing.

HP not only beat you to it, but beat you to it by over three years.  I mean, there's "slow", and then there's "slowwwwwwwwwwww."  [;)]

sub4hire -> RE: Fabulous (1/11/2009 9:58:44 AM)

5 years after the fact and I still think of nothing when I see the word.

GimpinDenial -> RE: Fabulous (1/11/2009 4:05:23 PM)

Me, I think of the first Drag Revue I saw....
Where the word was used in every sentence form the host.....
I think it must have been her "Word for the week"
