You poor Hawaiians.

As I type this with frostbite in my joints.

I'm not Hawaiian. :) I'm one of those "flown here" not "grown here" types. ;)

Besides...where you live? It ain't frostbite season there yet. Now, if you resided in Nunavut, I might consider that a possibility. :P

And...you're supposed to follow through with your own "last night...", so....?

Last night - my other half got home so late that it was this morning!

Last night I did turn on the heat to let the dust burn off the heaters in my "office." I don't need heat yet on sunny days, but yesterday is was 42 degrees and rainy outside and since I'm sitting on my ass in front of a computer, I get cold. I don't need the heat for sleeping yet; I burrow under lots and lots of covers.

My first 4 winters in South Florida were in a well insulated apartment and I didn't turn the heat on once. The next two winters were in a drafty house. We turned the heat on the first winter, and for the second winter decided to forgo it because it was noisy and sinus drying (my objection) and expensive (her objection.) She used space heaters in her bedroom and I sweaters.

South Florida? Hell, I'd have just used the weather... feeling chilly...turn off the a/c and open a window.

I've had my heater on here for almost a month now. The news says we could get up to 5 inches of snow here in Md tomorrow.

LaTigresse -> RE: Last night... (10/28/2011 11:16:42 AM)

Last night it got down to 29 degrees. I am still sleeping with the window open and the ceiling fan on.

The furnace, while repaired, is certainly NOT going to be running anytime soon!

DesFIP -> RE: Last night... (10/28/2011 11:23:33 AM)

Last night we had snow flurries and freezing rain. Tomorrow we are getting 1 -3 inches of snow, up to 7 inches in the mountains.
