Figging, can you describe the sensations?

I've read through all the figging posts in the archives. Also the posts on the figging website. Other than a handful of posts no one really seems to describe the sensations in any detail. I've interested in trying this but a bit intimidated by some of what I've read. (I also don't mind reliving other's pain vicariously when it sounds good) .

If you have done this what did it feel like to you? Was it burning, tingly, etc. Were the sensations pleasant, wonderful, or in the realm of punishment painful? Did the ginger make you horny as some claim? Did any of you have any lasting ill effects from it?

I have to admit i loved it. But i'm not sure how do describe it.....in a way...it's similiar to the warming sensation that ben gay or icy hot makes the skin feel....but this sensation of course is internal...kind of feels like a radiating internal heat source. It took my breath away. No ill effects here. (except the craving for more)..and the sensations didn't last more than about 15-20 minutes.

Freshness of the root has a direct effect on the intensity....maybe it was an old one?

Don't take this the wrong way, but why not try it on yourself? Reading other people's descriptions can be informative, but it's never like feeling it for yourself. That still won't be the same thing as what it feels like when a dom figs you, but at least it will be in the same ballpark.

Lord and Master I've thought of that but in all honesty I really want to try it with the person who is suggesting the notion to me. Somehow I think pre-trial might take something away from that. Sometimes part of the fun of trying something new with someone is the tantalizing fear of the unknown.

I guess if I get 20 responses saying its like sticking a hot branding iron up there I'm going to be pretty scared right? Thats ok, won't be the first time. If I get 20 more of its not much of anything its probably not going to be very tantalizing to me.

Is this mental masturbation?
