Cain is Cain, and not Thomas.

Its best to keep them seperate.

The man told me about this story, and when I looked it up, I expected some alex jones-ish web site. Instead, it originated at Politico... and they seem extremely willing to back the story completely.

He denies the accusations. He would be a fool not to deny them. Make people prove he is guilty. Smart man.

After Thomas, without a smoking gun.... like one in Cain's own handwriting... one associated with Cain's personal lawyer... or a video/audio recording.... im not too sure this will greatly affect his running.

The "high tech lynching has begun".

I missed this technique, when I said before that Cain will be accused of all kinds of things by the press.

I knew, but missed the fact that as a black conservative, Dem supportive members of the establishment media would use the racist meme of a black man with white women to stir up racist sentiment, and then attempt to metaphysically "lynch" him.

It's exactly like Thomas, in that respect.

Willing to bet this came out of one of the others' campaigns. Too early for a Democrat to be involved.

Hey, DYB:

Would you: having Black in your handle (and I assume proud of it, if not at least ok with being black) consider that what transpired was:

use the racist meme of a black man with white women to stir up racist sentiment, and then attempt to metaphysically "lynch" him.

It's exactly like Thomas, in that respect.

I mean I know it can be some dirty infighting in that respect among black folk, but would you characterize Anita Hill as a cracker?

I know it might not be a totally PC question, but I think hyperbolic rhetoric is a driving force here, and not a sublime recapitulation of some pretty basic ins and outs of our American society and outlook, at large.

Fargle, these days how many men haven't?
There's a lot of women out there looking for ,"a big payday" and plenty of lawyers to encourage them.

Let's try this again.

Yeah, I can't tell you how many times I've hit paydirt. Sometimes 3 times a week!!

(It's not nearly as snarky to me since I had to re-do it.)

My money is on "the candidate". Romney, I think, is now most scared of Cain cause he can't get at him. He is good at debating, sticks to the point even if the point is wrong, and has no record to try and hammer on.

I am proud to be Black and to be an American

And just to sort this out. Clarence Thomas was a fat ass brotha that is balding. Anita Hill is a fyne looking woman. He was stretching just like any other man black, white, red, yellow or blue would do. We are human just like everyone else....we catagorize on looks just as much as anyone else. The story behind it coming out is racist to be sure and some republican did it....but the acts themselves are human. No color invovled. Make sense?

Yup, thats why I don't buy into the meme setup lines. I have no idea about those women. I know he has to be just a mite dirty in the deal. Or a man of no principle.

But it dont make no never mind to me, he is a toilet flush for way more reasons than a dalliance, or his tanning solutions, they don't really enter into the equation.

Hearing his denials, and his lack of memory then some vague recollection.... tells me what I need to know. Ever since "Uzbeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan, I've written him off.

Thats about what I thought it was at, I didn't see these 'racist' memes in any of this shit.

The race of the women is unknown.

The meme is "scary black man, put upon white women".  Since what they actually are is unknown, it still works.

Obviously, this isn't the only thing going on here.  The hit is effective without it, as well, on several different levels.

Where the original information came from (Perry, Romney, or Obama) doesn't change the use of the meme as part of a hit piece, although if it becomes known where it came from may well change some peoples view of the people who dug it up for political purposes.
