Actually adding my twenty five quatloos to the topic at hand, I have to say there are a lot of people with... um... very high expectations. Appearance, age, weight, behavior, appearance, financial stability, behavior, and appearance. I occasionally sit here in front of my computer, absolutely astounded at how very specific some folks are as to the characteristics of their ideal partner, without ever giving the slightest thought to hobbies, personality, or all those other factors that are, to me, the very heart and soul of a relationship. Typically I just laugh, say to myself that I wish them the best of luck, and move on to the next one.
I can't blame them for trying, but I can point at them and laugh maniacally, and since they can't see me doing it, nobody gets hurt! Ain't the internet grand?
