It's not American Dom's they're after. They're just trying to get away from that crap you Brits call "food". I mean, seriously, 'spotted dick' sounds like something that takes a shot of penicillin to get rid of, not something you'd eat.

It's even worse than that. In Scotland they coat everything with orange-brown batter and deep fry the shit. And drink Irn Bru.

This is what happens when ya let Scots wander around a fuckin' desert and let 'em inbreed:

Texan Invents Deep-Fried Beer

Frightening quote:

Last year's winner of the Texas state fair fried food competition was a recipe for deep-fried butter.

An assumption purely based on the nick I created when I lived in Aberdeen many years ago no doubt, am I even scottish?

As to what you posted myotherself, I do not assume they have not considered it, but I do tend to doubt it, they may have visited the USA on holiday, passed through customs and immigration, but I doubt they have even looked at the website of the US Embassy in London.

In further response to littlewonder, I would only say perhaps...

But the thread has descended from what I intended, so it can die like many others before it.

That happens when you arent clear on what you are talking about, plus this is politics and religion, which has naff all to do with emigrating,and even forty year olds do it... not just girls, oh and men too.
Dreams are dreams. reality has very little to do with desire

Again, why do you doubt it? You don't know these people, you don't know what their motivations are. You are making sweeping assumptions based on a few profiles and the ages of the women behind the profiles.

It's not that it was a bad idea for a thread. It's just the presence of a bunch of smartasses (Myself included in that number) around here.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Migration (11/1/2011 1:30:15 PM)

now see, i didn't really think English food was that bad. i dont like too much ice in my drinks anyway because i have sensitive teeth, and it just melts and waters the drink down. =p i remember watching my ex take the ice out of his JD & coke with disgust. hahaha

the thing that creeped me out the most was that ghastly black pudding. gaaaaaah whose idea was that abomination?! i will never eat that, even if i abandon vegetarianism. =p
everything else i ate in England, though, i liked. it might be a little different, but certainly not bad.

geilematz -> RE: Migration (11/1/2011 1:39:27 PM)

at least if English food were a reason for emigrating France, Italy or Spain (or whatever else you might fancy) should be more appropriate and closer too

tut tut tut now now, clotted cream may sound disgusting too, but the taste is divine
and as a merrycan, you have the nerve to talk about " badly" named things

I worry about your soul mr Big Cock[sm=binky.gif]

Darn, Lucy.

I have a bit of a time trying to understand German, as spoken, but I need to be at the best of my days to understand British.

Am I to understand that you are speaking of this?

or are you otherwise trying to tell us that you pursued "that man in Tennessee"?

We always knew you were such a Romantic. You don't have to tell us all the details if you don't want.

Even though you are Brit, and you just can't help it.

TY Lucy, for understanding the latter part.

No insult or insinuation of whatever sort intended from this corner.

The banter and all ...

Well, I hope that you understand that you might on occasion become sporadic-but-inspirational subject of some West Side Story-type foray into never-never-whatever-land on my part.

starting a thread to try persuade uk sluts that want to move to the us that its a lost cause and they should just accept what is available locally is a pretty fucking bad idea for a thread if you ask me.

reminds me of the fucking whiner who was pissed that girls into black guys didn't give him a chance to prove he was so much better.

The first profile might be legit, but the second one screams "scammer" to me.  So if I'm right, you're left with a single profile.

Don't be like that. According to the OP there's a veritable tidal wave of young British subs seeking foreign Doms so they can emigrate. Rather than looking for reasons why they couldn't possibly be real, don't be a "Doubting Thomas"! I feel you should embrace your inner Zen Master and simply go with the flow. I'm sure you could easily take in three or four of them. Working out the messy immgration details would be a small price to pay for the profound spiritual benefits of such altruism.

Yeah, and "Pork Pies?"
That sounds like Charles Dickens food. "Take my first born for a Pork Pie Guvnah?"
"Bring out your dead!" "He died from eating a Pork Pie!"
But yes, any sub/slave wanting to come to the U.S. should have all their paperwork in order. Who wants to get involved in a bunch of immigration b.s. if you don't have to?
And, it's nice if they have a trade or profession. Cadillacs don't come cheap.

If I had the stats to hand I would, can I trawl every profile on the website no, and no I am not saying their are a lot of them, my point was and is they have given no thought to what is required to gain residency anywhere else in the western developed world.

The barriers to ordinary non-mega rich mortals are going up, and they will keep going up for some time, we just hit 7 Billion people.

When the barriers really go up they may not be lowered again for a generation.

Lack of thought and lack of planning mean you will be stuck where you are, time to wake up and smell the future here.

So let me see if I have this right.

You are basically having a temper tantrum because some young girls, that you could probably never get anyway, want to move to the US.

Does that about sum it up?

willbeurdaddy -> RE: Migration (11/2/2011 2:36:42 PM)

FR

Lots of scammers from Britain. Ive had conversations with as few "US ex-pats now in Britain, and I want to come home" or "Ive always loved the US and want to move" and within 2 conversations they turn into a tragic story about being stuck in a hotel, not being allowed to leave because they cant pay the bill.
