Black Mistress 4 Submissive Black Male ? That is the one thing I've NEVER seen in BDSM. Not in the movies, erotic stories or whatever. It's usually about a black man dominating a white woman, a black woman dominating a white guy or a white couple, or even about a white guy dominating a black woman, or a white lady dominating a black man, but NEVER a black woman dominating a WILLING black MAN with a strapon. Why is that ? I browsed Literotica online and found ZERO stories like that between 2000 and 2011.

Honestly, I have wondered that myself. I know ONE black couple in my area---metro freakin DETROIT!! It's all mixed couples. Who are very happy, so it's all good, but I do wonder what's up.

That is rather odd. I have written but hardly ever read. I'm trying to think of the many porn movies I have seen and can't remember one that addresses this. Hummm... sounds like there is a gaping hole in the industry that someone needs to fill.

On fetlife there are a couple of groups that deal with a lot of "issues" like that. Black men and women have a complicated relationship unfortunately. There aren't a lot of us in the kinky world anyway, and I've seen some submissive black men who feel like black women don't take them seriously as submissives. A lot of that is to do with the "thug image," or the hints of patriarchy still present.

Also, I thhink porn is generally marketed towards the white middle class male - what he wants to see, finds attractive, or can relate to.

How about you take this as an opportunity, OP? Write your own stories! :)

Black men and Black women do have a complicated relationship, unfortunately. We do need to mend our wounds before we can freely play together. A lot of distrust on both sides....with many using interracial dating as a 'revenge game' with each other. Sad but true.

for me, interracial dating isn't a revenge game, though -- i just meet people in the places i hang out, and guys i have stuff in common with, and for some reason, they tend to be white. i think it's just because i grew up rural, and most of them i've met have been very urban, and we have different expectations and goals for life.
though i do wonder if maybe i don't give the black guys an equal shake because i've had so many negative experiences with them? i dunno. =p
i don't know if that's it, though, because the worst thing in my history was committed against me by a white guy. so... you'd think i would hate them all based on that.

i think for many, with some of the walls coming down, people are just branching out and meeting people who they like, regardless of color.

i'm not going to put someone at the top of the list just because he's got the same skin color i have. that would be a very shallow relationship, at least in my opinion. if there's nothing else in common, what's the point?

Its really very simple. There is no racial aspect to a black woman banging a black guy, it is no different from a white on white or asian on asian scenario, so you lose that whole audience segment who gets off on racial contrasts.

Now you're asking why still, after all there is tons of white-on-white stories, so why not black-on-black? Again, it boils down to marketing and knowing your audience. Keep in mind we are dealing with statistical generalities here.

There is a segment of the white population who will be turned off by black-on-black porn. It is not a large minority, but percentage-wise it is larger than the corresponding black group who would be turned off by white-on-white porn. Combine that with the fact that there simply are more whites in the western world (the main market for online porn) and you have your answer. There are a LOT more whites who actively dislike black-on-black porn than there are blacks who dislike white-on-white porn.

I left you a comment on another thread that you started. Go to Fetlife. There are several groups there. In particular, there is a group called black male subs who serve black Dommes. Join that group and participate in the discussions.

Also, search for Blackbeat on Fetlife. They hold an annual BDSM conference for African-Americans.

But what you're probably discovering is that there just aren't many blacks in the BDSM community. I've lived all over the US, and regardless of what city I've been in, I have always been the only black member of the local BDSM society.
