Police Detective found guilty of planting drugs. What? This is outrageous. The police are here to protect and serve. It should NOT matter if they do plant drugs on innocent people. He was doing it because they could be possible criminals in the future. If they look like hippies, smell like hippies but dont carry drugs like hippies then plant the drugs on them and get them off the streets. This action should be approved for all detectives who pull liberals and progressive over because they must be on drugs to think the way they do.

I'm only surprised there weren't a couple hundred of his coworkers on the courthouse steps calling the prosecuters "Scum".

Soooo...now every police officer on the force plants drugs or supports an offender that does? I'm really trying not to call you folks prejudice asses. How many times have those posting on this thread criticized others for the very same type of statements… You all should be ashamed. Butch

There are about 880,000 police officers in this country…160 of them died for your sorry asses last year. Yet you continually group them as bullies and criminals rather than thank them for protecting you and your families. Butch

Butch Butch, I was referring to the story last week where 16 NYPD officers had a total of 1500 criminal charges levied against them. Among the charges was an officer that took a load of heroin thru a police roadblock in his car for his friend the dealer. There are approximately 500 of his coworkers on the courthouse steps rallying in their support. The indictments were mostly about ticket fixing but it started with the officer that was moving heroin for his friend. Hopefully, that gives you come context for my comment.

That means the SO-CALLED-GOOD-COP is also a BAD COP. As long as the BAD COPS aren't being thrown out of the police force, ( or perhaps a helicopter... "FLY PIGGY! FLY!" ) they're ALL BAD COPS. However, 16 cops were just arrested... those who are supposed to be above it all... those we turn too when we ned help, become victims... I dont lug all cops into that basket... but when these things happen, it makes it a hell of alot harder to trust the next one.
