Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, wants to bomb the nuclear complexes of Iran to slow down or stop their military nuclear program. Iran insists that they have only peaceful purposes. This is of course very reasonable, Iran being a country with no oil to produce their energy, and with no known past or present quarrels with any neighbor country. But well, let us accept the crazy hypothesis that the democratic and progressive state of Iran wants to actually produce nuclear weapons. I was just remembering the assertions of the Israel diplomacy about the petition of the Palestinian Authority for Palestina to be accepted as a state in the UN. "This should be the result of negotiations, and not an unilateral decision they try to impose on us". Well. Let us suppose for one moment that Palestina would actually request anything from Israel. This is not the case. They are not giving a fuck about, if Israel recognizes the State of Palestina or not: they are asking the rest of the countries of the world. Why on Earth should Israel have any right to tell Pakistan or Brazil, if they should recognize the State of Palestina or not? Let us also suppose that the Palestinian people would not have the right to declare themselves a state. Or - better enough, let us suppose that Israel has the right to bomb Iran for some reason (national security, etc.) Well, even in that strange case, Israel should remain consistent in their positions, isn't it? I mean - no unilateral bombing. The bombing should be the result of negotiations between Iran and Israel about how and when can be bombed, not trying to impose such decision on the Iranian Government ... I am sure Ahmadinedjad will negotiate the matter with the same interest and passion for an agreement, as Israel is showing about a "two states" peace with Palestina based on the internationally recognized borders. Good luck, Netanyahu! Shalom!
