I want a long form birth Certificate AND a microfiche.

is the head of the RNC.

I just read an article in which his name was stated, and the news source felt obligated to give the pronunciation of it, which is ryns PREE'-bus.

The GOP hasn't favored weird yuppie names before.  Look at their Presidential nominees: Dwight (Eisenhower), Richard (Nixon), Ronald (Reagan), George (Bush), Bob (Dole).  Nowadays, we have Mitt, sure, but the other nominees have simple first names.

The Dems had Lyndon before Barack, so they haven't have a lot of unpronounceable yuppie names.

Are boutique yuppie names a sign of things to come?

When I saw the title I thought Latin.

But then I remembered the new RNC guy`s name.

They sure snuck that guy in and Steele out quietly and in the dead of night.

His comments sound whiney and he doesn`t have much heft. Not going to be a significant factor in '12' ,if he even lasts that long.

In the the nineteenth century the
Republicans had a Grover and a
Millard. Those were probably trendy,
boutique names for their times.
They haven't survived very well as
most trendy names have a relatively
short shelf life.
I think the name the most presidents
have had is James followed by William
and John.
James Carter and William Clinton
went with the friendly version of
their names.
There have been studied that unusual
names can hold people back.
Johnson, Obama and Grant would
seem to be exceptions if that's true.
