I would imagine that another fun part is figuring out all the ways to work the wheelchair into the play and/or sex. Honestly it sounds like fun and I wouldn't hesitate to have a relationship with someone in a chair. It's just something to deal with.

I put down "maybe". Confinement to a wheelchair (or other disability) is not a dealbreaker, but neither would I necessarily play with a disabled dom out of political correctness if we didn't connect on other levels. It seems everyone has some limitations, some more obvious than others, but these just become things to work out if the connection is truly there. But, as an aside, I'm not into casual play, so the basis of a good relationship is what I look for.

Congratulations! You will see people on here and in other venues saying that the mind is the greatest sex organ. You will also hear people say things like "The person is more important than the packaging" etc. etc.. You two are not saying that. You are living it! Good for you. I wish you much happiness together for a long long time.

I am in a wheelchair myself and find that I always have a "great attitude" or that I am "such a nice guy" yet it is still impossible to get a phone number... My wife shot me 25 years ago and I have been lucky to have a really sweet friend sit on my face twice :) It's still burned into my memory. Her beautiful brown skin and such perfect breasts... hhhhhh... Anyway, even though I can't feel from the armpits down, I can still give a woman a hell of an orgasm. I made her squirt for the first time (I loved it!). Why don't people believe that we quads can't perform?

FR I did not vote because there was no answer for "It doesn't matter so much, either way." I've dated people with various handicaps, and honestly, they generally never even stood out in my eyes. Taking in to consideration their special needs was to me not much different than taking in to consideration that I need to put on clothes before I go out in public--I just know it's something necessary (trust me, I started a mass panic once, and won't make that mistake again!), but not something I give a whole lot of thought about. I am glad you found someone great that you really enjoy being with, and glad you even find his "handicap" something that actually turns you on in so many ways! It's not much of a handicap in that regard ;-)

I was a child of the Viet Nam era. So many of the men in my age bracket where killed, maimed or mentally damaged. I've dated men in wheelchairs, amputees. I had nothing but admiration for these men, what they gave for their country and what they were willing to do to make a new life for themselves. Even though none were destined to be a permanent relationship, I am grateful for the experiences, the learning and the joy that these men brought into my life. Sure, I'd date a man in a wheelchair.

Great story... and yes, I would play with a wheelchair bound person. I have had some "handicapped" people in my life. I had a friend in wheelchair and used to share my slaves with him. I had female that was blind and I was in the process of getting a custom made white cane with red tip that looked just like a real one. The plan was that I would take her to the local public dungeon to introduce her to my friends. Then rip the cane from hands, throw her over a bench and beat her with it. Unfortunately, we never progressed to that far... other issues. But I would've if I could've. Sometimes the very things that make you unique can be fodder for a creative and passionate mind.... whether some people consider it a handicap or not. Nice thread btw.
