Status: offline 		And maybe a half a yard or something if you want a different piece for the accent at the top by the opening? I'll probably go simple and just keep it all one color though.

2 yards of 44" fabric (for 1 pair of Standard Cases)
2.25 yards of 44" fabric (for one pair of Queen Cases)
2.5 yards of 44" fabric (for 1 pair of King Cases)

because depending on the seam allowance and how the fabric is cut on the bias or pattern.. you need a larger piece of fabric... than the actual case... that does not allow for a large seam allowance if you are doing french press seams etc...

Seriously though, I normally, for bed sized pillows, go with 2 yards. Same with most throw pillows. Round (cylindrical) accent pillows I can often get by with 1 - 1.5.

Oh, for 2? Sorry... I would double it. I was going off of just 1 pillow recipes.

Status: offline 		I like to have extra seam allowance, and tend to make them a bit large as I like big pillows. I also like to make the cases with the full sides, not just the folded over type cases. Full sides and folding flap for the opening (kind of like a sandwich baggie).
