Status: offline 		Okay Gals. I admit it. I created a sock profile as a Female Dominant. See, mine says Female Switch and I wanted to find out just what those profiles with Red Names get in their CM Inboxes. Well, that and the fact that I'm looking for a sub and I know that new profiles get viewed more. lol All I can say is WOW. Just WOW!!

Within minutes, yes MINUTES, of when I finished my profile, I was swamped with mail from sub guys. Really, for the most part, the guys were very polite and most referenced something that I said in my profile, so I know they read it. That and they were listed on my Viewed Me page, which means, theoretically, that they read my whole profile or at least looked at it. Of course, along with the fairly local guys I got a few from across the country wanting online only, a couple do-me subs, and also some guys from the UK, as well as a sissy or two.

All these guys wrote EVEN THOUGH I made it very clear in my profile that Online only does nothing for me and I am NOT into tribute Domming, sissification/feminization, diapers or infantilism. So why do these guys write to me, even though they've theoretically read my profile or at least scanned over the whole thing, AND I know they're very able to read because of the caliber of letters I've received?

I guess all I can say is, so much for my theory that they read my profile. Either that or they just don't give a rat's ass what I want. lol I think that's more like it.

for the same reason they write to lesbians. they just don't give a flying fuck what you want, or to more accurately reflect their mindset - what you think you want. they don't give a fuck about you, they have a penis and it will not be denied, they will write to anybody on the off chance that you didn't actually mean what you wrote on your profile. you would be fucking amazed at the number of guys who write to ask the girls if they are really lesbians or did they just put that in there to dissuade guys from writing.

what the fuck??? make a profile on a dating site and then try to prevent the type of people who you hope to meet from contacting you? so the fuckers write you anyway, i mean either you are a dyke or you don't want men to write you, so either way you don't want them to write. but they write anyway, figuring it isn't them you want to avoid, just all the other men, that you really want them to write and only did all this as a test to see if they are perspicacious enough to figure all this double think out.

only a fucking man could think that made any sense.

i do imagine it sucks for dudes like Peon and NineBelow, Roch, Darch, et al to see another "sub men are annoying!! -- oh but you're one of the good ones!" type of threads..............

Status: offline 		I'm ambivalent, really. On the one hand it does indeed suck to see another one of these 'aren't males terrible' threads - it's always a little depressing. On the other, well, some people may remember my experiment with LadyNTrainer, in which she gave me access to an account she'd once used. It wasn't so much the offensiveness of the people who'd contacted her, or the stupidity - it was the coldness. It was an ugly experience.

i remember looking at that thread when it popped back up in the lists, though i wasn't around when it was originally made.
and i'm not denying that really creepy people exist. people who DO just think of any woman out there as a "fetish delivery system."
since changing my designator, i've met some pretty scary people; like bordering on sociopathic or criminally insane -- and of course "real slaves" take any manner of horror they want to dish out. =p

at the same time, though, i have a hard time seeing how this is different from threads where men complain about financial dommes, or when they gripe about user women who contact them, suck up to them, snare up their feelings, and then want "relocation money."
but you can bet they sure are treated differently. =p

Yep.  Some folks say that "men are visual creatures".  Also note that women are more into communicating than men are.  Boiled down, it comes to this, repeated many times: 

A clueless man thinks of what he wants and then goes to an online site to find it.  Because he is into "kink", and it's a kink site, he assumes that the women will also be into kink, and is unaware that kink comes in different flavors.  Because he's straight and sub (or Dom), he assumes that the women are straight and Domme (or sub).  Because he is new to relationships/always thinks with his dick/is just plain dense, he assumes that sexual and kink compatibility (which he has already assumed) is all that matters and that vanilla compatibility is a given.

With all that assumed, he only needs to look at the pictures.  If he's attracted to her pics, it's a done deal.

In fairness to these idiots, we Dom men get mails regularly from slavegirls with beautiful pics stolen off the Internet that feed the fantasy.  (I assume that sub men get the equivalent from fake Dommes.)  For the less agile-minded, it reinforces the idea that there are bazillions of drop-dead gorgeous women available that also overlook compatibility and are into whatever activities we want.
