I understand some of it, people got killed there, very bad things happened, Ghosts can come back to "life" on halloween but that's about it.

Don't ask me, I'm too involved with make believe: "Once Upon a Time". (Really fun show about fairy tales, and intertwining them with modern day.)

We started watching it... and quickly decided we didnt want too anymore. It was that bad.

Hanna, American horror story is a new tv show out on foxfx, it's kinda dumb and stuff but I am still trying to follow it.

American Horror Story revolves around the Harmons, a family of three who moved from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. The all-star cast features Dylan McDermott as “Ben Harmon,” a psychiatrist; Connie Britton as “Vivien Harmon,” Ben’s wife; Taissa Farmiga as “Violet,” the Harmon’s teenage daughter; Jessica Lange in her first-ever regular series TV role as “Constance,” the Harmon’s neighbor; Evan Peters plays “Tate Langdon,” one of Ben’s patients; and Denis O’Hare as “Larry Harvey.” Guest stars for the series include Frances Conroy as the Harmon’s housekeeper; Alexandra Breckenridge as the Harmon’s housekeeper; and Jamie Brewer as Constance’s daughter.

The pilot episode of American Horror Story, shot in Los Angeles, was written by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, and it was directed by Murphy. In addition to Murphy and Falchuk, Dante Di Loreto will also serve as Executive Producer of the series. American Horror Story is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.

Never watched it, don't care to. The commercials reminded me of a Gothic version of 90210.

Daddy watched two episodes with me and then said nope, not watching any more. But with out Daddy to explain things when I get lost, I'm not understanding large portions of it lol.

My tv is either on the History or Science channel, news or sports when Master is here <groan>.
Other than that, my tv is simply just background noise. I don't even know what's on half the time.

So can you explain it a bit better to me, since other than the fact a lot of them were dead, and bad things happened I have no clue lol.

We love it. I watch alot of movies, Netflix stuff, etc. but not many regular weekly shows other than many of the ones on HBO. However, I anxiously anticipated this one and it has been worth it. I don't find anything dumb or bad about it at all and, if you watch carefully, it's really not too confusing. It's one of hundreds of shows that come and go that I'll spend 60 minutes of my time watching. Just shows ya - way different strokes for different folks. Glad we all have many choices........luci

How is the maid still alive, and why does she look like an old woman to the wife, and a sexy slut to the husband?

Moria is dead. She is burried out in the backyard. Underneath Hayden. And they are both underneath the gazebo.

She looks like a sexy slut to the hubby because she slept with a previous owner that was a husband. Constance's I think because that is who killed her.

The aging difference has not been fully explained.

I've been watching it and I like it. It's pretty bizarre, lots and lots of plot twists, and it is a little hard to follow, but worth it. You have to watch it from the very beginning, and it doesn't hurt to record it and watch each episode a couple times, because you see things you might have missed before that either set up or explain or further complicate all the plot twists. It gets pretty crazy, but that's why it's the show that it is, a big, gothic fantasy,

I like Jessica Lange's character, she does a good job. I'm surprised more folks here aren't all over the guy in black latex.....[:-]

Dylan McDermott's character sees the maid as she looked when she died because he's a philandering husband like Jessica Lange's husband was. The wife and daughter see the maid as the age she would be if she was still alive because they see the "truth of her soul." I think that's how the writers phrased it. (I'm all over the latex ghost.)
