I am new and thought i would say hi
I am trying to sort thru some raceing thoughts and just cant get my desire to receive pain and punishment off my mind. I am unsure about the safety of meating and have chickened out once. I have had people off to meet me but unsure about traveleing to meet them....

anyway starting to ramble

Hi Jay. I read your profile and I can tell you that you aren't alone in the way you feel. I was scared to death (and my head was spinning much the same way you descibe in your profile) when I first found this website and this lifestyle.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, read alot, ask more questions and find munches (gathering of "like minded individuals") in your area.

Welcome Jay!

This site is a great place to climb into the hot tub so to speak and see if it feels comfortable. We do need to be careful with the choices we make when playing with fire. So, maybe your "chickening out" was really just sound judgement. I agree munches are a great idea for you. That way you could start by meeting people of like minds in a group. Lots of safety there. Then, if it feels right, you can take the next step after already having met them.

Hey jay, i've no doubt already said this at some point, in the not too distant past, but pain hurts and costs money, but you need to find that out for yourslf. First off don't be afraid to meet people, no irate husband is going to leap out of a wardrobe (closet?) to kill you! This is a man's world, especially when it comes to getting your wallet out! Give yourself a few years in the pain game and you'll no doubt end up, listless, unsatisfied and board to tears!
