Voters think Obama stinks, but still prefer him over GOP rivals.

The system's broken.

The system is broken. Agreed. The root cause of that is the voters, not the system though. All we're really proving with the current system is that we like to take sides on teams, and like to blame everything on someone else.

That voters still prefer the usurper over GOP rivals is grossly misleading because the GOP rivals are still campaigning against each other rather than against the usurper. Even so, a current Rasmussen poll shows the usurper now has only a single digit lead over Newt Gingrich who, if he becomes the Republican nominee, will mop the floor with the usurper during the general election.

IMo the system is broken, perhaps it never really worked all that well in the first place. Imo, with only 2 parties there are no choices. 2 parties means its easier to buy and lobby politicians, doesnt matter which party gets in, big business, bankers, etc contribute to both to get what they want.. easy peasy.. Imo you need more parties, more choice, harder for them to be bought and paid for.

Your system is broken but cuz there is only 2 parties, they wont change it simply for self-preservation reasons...

The US is soooooo screwed.. [8|]

Remember the old adage :

"A Bird In The Hand Is Worth Two In The Bush"

Or

"An Obama In The White House Is Worth More Than Some Looney-tune Fundie Who Talks Directly To God Or A Pizza-making Skirt-Chaser Or A Flip-Flopping Venture Capitalist Or An Ayn Rand Worshipper Trying To Win The GOP Primaries".

Nah... they get two votes... The lucky break is that AZBM could have a 'moment' on his way to vote and do it in a bus terminal photo booth.

Sanity -> RE: This is just sad. (11/8/2011 8:18:49 AM)

Obama is a known fuckup

Tax cheat for treasury secretary, preaches sacrifice between extravagant vacations, alienates every group of voters before kissing up to them come election time... the moron just got caught talking trash about Netanyahu on a hot mic for Christs sake

Vast bailout s to his rich banker friends, kowtows to his Union  lobbyist pals... world apology tour... appointed a racist to the Supreme Court. 58 states...

Etc etc etc

Time to give someone else a shot

People were expecting superman and got a man. We live in a fantasy world half of the time when it comes to the US economy. And when reality hits us in the face we blame superman. We the People are the problem and We the people need to take a real stand and make change.

Lucylastic -> RE: This is just sad. (11/8/2011 8:27:36 AM)

You gave bush 8 years, and he fucked up more
oh and Obama cleared up bushes clusterfuck, and Bush 1s with Osama AND ghadaffi
Plus
French President Nicolas Sarkozy branded Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "a liar" in a private conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama that was accidentally broadcast to journalists during last week's G20 summit in Cannes."I cannot bear Netanyahu, he's a liar," Sarkozy told Obama, unaware that the microphones in their meeting room had been switched on, enabling reporters in a separate location to listen in to a simultaneous translation."You're fed up with him, but I have to deal with him even more often than you," Obama replied, according to the French interpreter. The technical gaffe is likely to cause great embarrassment to all three leaders as they look to work together to intensify international pressure on Iran over its nuclear ambitions.

Yeah thats sooooo talking trash.LMAO Im surprised you didnt accuse him of threatening the Israeli PM, and should be impeached. Traitorous bastard!!!!!!!
PS it was 57 states, not 58

And that is exactly what the guy before Obama did.. voters will be doing the same thing but expecting a different result! [8|]

But who? You got nothing but known fuckups and massively dense imbeciles running against him, so who?

MadAxeman -> RE: This is just sad. (11/8/2011 8:55:05 AM)

From here (Britain) Obama looks inactive rather than FU.
What's he done that's so disastrous? He hasn't started any illegal wars, supervised over the start of an economic meltdown or been caught coming over any interns. He's still black though right? Will he never learn?
I'm sure the name calling will be sufficient to oust him.
Coherent policies from competent opposition candidates seems to have been dismissed as a tactic.

Hillwilliam -> RE: This is just sad. (11/8/2011 8:57:03 AM)

If the Republican candidates didn't look like that circus act where 20 clowns come out of a tiny car and start a mock fight, they might have a better chance.

Where did the RNC find these fucking imbeciles?  It's like theyre trying to fail.

Lucylastic -> RE: This is just sad. (11/8/2011 9:02:45 AM)

Would you wanna inherit whats going on?
