Status: offline 		I don't know why anyone would want to have that many kids, but they don't get any aid, and all their kids seem to be happy and well adjusted.  It's not like she is the octomom...

Can you imagine the volume of Mommy/Daddy Dearest books if things are not as they appear??

As long as the family and their home are as they appear and not disfunctional, I don't care how many kids they have. I do have to wonder at the safety of it, though. She and each baby seems to have more and more health complications with each birth.

ETA: I've never watched the shows, either.

I saw a few episodes before I got my cable disconected and decided that, as funddies go, they're not so bad. I mean, they don't shoot abortion doctors or they don't got to funerals and scream nasty things at the bereaved. If all funddies were like them Anmerican politics wouldn't be the cluster fuck it is today. Well, not as much any way.

For a group of people who are usually touting "reproductive rights" and "choice" I find it interesting that you would deny the Duggars their choices.

Oye. I am so glad neither Generic Dude nor I like that reality television crap.

House Hunters International on HGTV and Bourdain's show on Travel is about as 'reality tv show' as it gets at the farmette on the hill. Unless you consider National Geographic and History to be 'reality tv' I guess. Oh, and college football. We cannot forget college football!!!

Although I must admit to watching two back to back episodes of Mob Wives on a, I wanna watch something brain dead and not think, night home alone.

I thought it amazing they built their own home... not just the parents, but the kids too as school work... and not just hiring someone to come out and build it.... they built it themselves.

I'm certainly not advocating denying them their choices. She could have another twenty as far as I care.

It is possible to criticize someone's choices while still respecting their right to make those choices.
