Status: offline 		This is reprehensible.  Where are the police in this, which is clearly a riot?  Is there by any chance an Occupy movement in State College, PA which the police need to harass?

What gets me in a lather is that we have fostered a culture in which football is more important than learning, even in centers of higher learning.

Prove a link between the students at Penn and the OWS. Then prove they are doing this as a political protest.

One time I asked him what the Magna Carta was all about and he said, "Never heard of it, I played football in college."
Lol, a history major.

An antidote? Hope you werent dying from it.

And the "football is a religion" line usually refers to the fans and donors, not the players.

Status: offline 		gotta keep in mind these are the same students who riot through the town when they win a game, setting couches alight that the fraternities have sitting on their stoops and overturning cars and who riot once a year during the arts festival because they all get drunk and go through the town throwing things through windows. I kid you not.
