Hi all, I'm 26, female, submissive tendencies. New to bdsm. Had a friend start telling me about it & something just clicked into place. Been doing LOTS of reading online. Looking for more info, some friends to help me along and be able to talk with. Thanks!!

Hi SubmissiveBeast, Welcome to Our World. That "Our" includes you now. Hope you like it. First thing I would say is make sure to research how to set your filters. I have a feeling you might get way too many messages. That can be disrupting to your journey. Explore the site, make some contributions (posts) and I am sure there are some friends waiting out there for you. There are plenty of veterans to help out us young folk who are still learning to tie knots and such. Don't be afraid, and jump in. Also be of good cheer. It goes a long way and is much appreciated. Welcome to the discussion side of CM, Beast !! You will find a ton of information in old threads once you learn how to use the search function. Feel free to jump in and start your own thread(s) if you have specific questions. We don't bite (much). A mentor is always a great idea ! You need someone local, and I suspect Portland has a very active BDSM scene. Join FetLife, and you will be able to do a quick search for events in your area. Most larger urban areas have a group for the under 30s. Good luck on your journey.

Heya! Welcome to CM! You can see by my delightful vanilla cone that i am still a newb, however not a n00b! :) Make sure you check out the acid test for identifying the Doms from the posers. Take things uber slow, there is no need to rush for the sake of it. And what else can i say....ummm oh yes! It is a good idea to set yourself lots of limits so that as you grow and learn and experience you can choose to lift them. It is better to start with alot of limits than none at all. Keep it sane!
