NYC requires a permit for amplified sound in public, and you know, they're not giving them out to protesters, so even an amplified bullhorn can get you 30 days in jail. Someone kicks it off: "mic check" "MIC CHECK" shouts the crowd. then, with every few words/THEN, WITH EVERY FEW WORDS the speaker and audience/THE SPEAKER AND AUDIENCE do their call and response like thing/DO THEIR CALL AND RESPONSE LIKE THING our top story tonight/OUR TOP STORY TONIGHT.....

I found it it interesting that somebody yelled, at the end of the video "this is not helping the American people". Was that one of Bachmann's supporters or one of the people there to try to educate Bachmann. I also found it interesting the Bachmann felt the need to be escorted out rather than wait and here what her detractors had to say. That's say's a lot about Ms. Bachmann.

The idea, I believe, came from the movie "The Life of Brian"... but it was used because many places they are protesting wont allow them microphones... so they made their own.
