Women were denied the right to vote. Any other race was denied the right to vote. But, yeah, they had a deep understanding of the way they wished to rule this country. Founded by white men, ran by white men. Keep the slaves and the natives in their places, and the little woman at home.

I would call that attitude extremely juvenile. It certainly has played out that way. The attitude that because someone is white and male they are the only ones who should have a decision in the running of this country. Yet that attitude has changed, by pushing the vote... by pushing the puerile concept that , as the Constitution states, "All men are created equal"... not just white men.... not just males ... but everyone in this country.

You have a pretty firm grasp of the obvious here.
