I just had my very first spanking on Friday. I know Sir was relatively careful and gentle. It never got beyond a sharp sting. Of course I had to look in the mirror later [;)]. I found a big bruise on one cheek, which surprised me a lot. Is it normal to have bruising (as opposed to just redness), or is it just that I bruise too easily? Any insight would be appreciated. LB

I think it's normal. I don't normally bruise well at all; I don't tend to carry them around for days like some people do, but one of my biggest bruises came from spanking thing. I never thought to look because I know that I just don't tend to keep them, but I had one excessively sore cheek for a couple of days, and lo' and behold, there it was. Severity of bruising is kind of an individual thing -- if you're just starting, you'll start to figure out what's normal for you.

Haha right now, actually no. I'm working on a really large painting and I normally work small so it's a challenge. My paint stuff and computer are in the same room, so if I get stuck at 3 am, I play around online.

My first spanking left my butt a big black messy bruise... I could barely sit... ahh.. memories. [:D] But I do bruise easily.

it's normal, especially if it's something you've not had done to you before.

No, when I say I bruise easily... lol... i do. The man rolled over in bed and jabbed me in the upper arm with his elbow. I had a nasty looking bruise for a week.

Haha -- now see, in those situations, I will bruise easily. If I wander into furniture, or the back of my car (or the front of my car), or fall off the stairs, or something like that. =p But from an intentional activity? Nope. =p

Well, I do have to admit that the first time involved a bamboo cane and a fantastically long blow job.. we... umm... both got caught up in the moment and... well... [:D]

As I've gotten older I find I bruise more easily, though I also heal pretty quickly. At any given time I have bruises on my thighs, just the size of large cat paws, from my big (23lb) guy climbing onto my lap. [:D]

Just wondering if you take anything like aspirin or warfarin etc? Any anti coagulant or similar would enhance the bruising.

I bruise easily. I think it's normal to bruise a little after a spanking.

Spanking and paddling compress a large amount of tissue. Stingy spanking will cause less bruising because it's primarily about the skin surface. Thuddy spanking will cause more bruising because it's about going deep.

Well from personal experiences.... the longer I've been doing this, and the more I've gotten spanked and all that... the less I bruise. One of my first heavy experiences left me with a lot of bruising over both cheeks, and now scenes that are just as hard don't bruise as nicely! But I like bruises.
