Best BDSM writing i've read for ages. Guy in another forum just mentioned it too, so word must be spreading! It's by a writer called Nikki Morrigan (we reckon it's a pic of her on the cover ;-) ) and it's the first of a sequence called USE. Not sure how many are to come, but the first one just out is amazing writing. Check it out - i got it on amazon. more to the point, who else thinks it's her on the cover! lol

How long is it?
Hate buying a book for my kindle thinking 5 bucks is a good deal, then finding out it takes 5 minutes to read.

I think it's short novella. It certainly didn't feel like it was over too quick. (Mind you, i did find myself stopping frequently to ... well!)

Nothing wrong with that ^^

But does it go a percent every page you flip, or even 16 percent every page? Or(please please please)a percent every few pages you flip?

She's asking if it's more than just a few pages long. (I believe) 100/16 equals 6.25, so is the book closer to 6.25 pages long, 100 pages (or longer) or somewhere in between. (that's my take on it anyway)

Wow, that's quite a pic... hope to duscuss your distrubing hobbies sometime. I;ve just added it to the BDSM forum in goodreads where had to calculate the word count and if my maths is right it's over 15,000 words, if that helps, so it's like a short novella I guess.

It's not a rip off. Think it's pretty much short novel lenght.

Ok, so around 70 pages.

But really, if you're going to advertise, there are places here for that. Both Watcher and Bank Sheet have only in their short time here, talked about this one mini-book.

People that were so moved to post about a booklette that these are the only posts they've ever been moved to make, or something more...capitalistic? I, like the writer of the novel (that hot lady) will leave that for the reader to decide...

And honestly, if you wanted to, you could have gone to the off-topic posts and said OMGZ, guess what you guys?!! I (or my gf or whatever) just wrote a tiny book!!! Please take a look at it and let me know your thoughts. That would have been more warmly received.

I wish I was a fit young authoress. But alas. I am, however, new to forums and blogging. Wasn't expecting the cynicism, but thanks to those who are sending in suggestions.

I just downloaded the sample onto my Kindle. This story is self-published, which usually means it's unedited with dreadful grammar. Really expensive for a short story, too. The book has few sales, no reviews, and the blurb is pretty bad.

I'll post again after I've read the sample.

This story is poorly written porn.

I suspect "Nikki" didn't write it. It was written by a man. Lots of mechanics, humiliation, no world-building, no real emotion. Homonym problems. Taut isn't the same as "taught", for example. And there's no true BDSM ambiance to it, other than the "He" and "Him" are capitalized.

Maybe I like it because I am a man. Different brains. Interested in your theory that it was written by a guy, which would explain why it struck me as different. I didn't write it though! Jeez.

This is smash mouth they are good at this. These are published books they are edited. Plus you get to read 15 percent before you pay. Typically a book of around 48,000 words is 5.95 Smash
mouth tells you the genre the synopsis the length etc. So you really know what you are getting.
