Lillybobeep. I bought a pair for my ex last year for xmas and she did some research and a friend of hers that wears them a lot told her that. I do not know what they put sown there, but I am sure some thick foam should do the trick.

I almost forgot. If there is a Dance Store near you, get some JELL PADS. These are so great, for the toes. There are also a lot of places on line for them, and they have different thicknesses and comfort. Try Just For Kix or Discount Dance Supply. They each have a large selection of Toe Pads. I use Lambs Wool in my Pointe Shoes toes.

Try Ouch Pouches, they are silicone and nice. Also, plain old dense foam rubber will help.
Many commercial ballet boots are meant for "lying down" so the heels are not great for walking. If you are on Fetl, check out SaucyBallerina, she and her partner actually make their own, fabulous!
