In general, we want hair length that is attractive on the person - some guys look damn good bald, some look horrible ... same with short/long/medium length hair. We do prefer to have at least a handful to grab and pull, but other than that, it's whatever looks good on him.

I will start with the usual it's what underneath the hair that matters... BUT, if I could choose...

Well, I loved long-haired guys back in my teenage years, but I am no longer a teenager. A few guys can get away with it and look great long-haired even in their mid to late years. I think I prefer some kind of well-groomed, nicely styled, short to medium-length hair.... as long as what is under the hair is intact.

I just checked. My scalp and skull are still intact. What's under them has it good days and bad days.

Until about a year and a half ago, I was shaving my head. I stopped doing that for three reasons. Number one was the Domina who had me at the time wanted me to grow it long. Number two was that I got to thinking about all the men my age who wish they could grow as much hair as I can. It started to seem kind of like mockery. Number three was when a lady named Lolita Wolfe came to Desert Dominion to give a seminar on CBT. I had the good fortune to be chosen as her Demo model. During the seminar, she mentioned some of the wonderful bondage predicaments possible using ponytails and scrotums. I've been working on getting it to ponytail length ever since.

That makes sense to me. One of the other reasons I decided to keep growing it is that I'm unqualified to decide what looks best on me. I figure if my next, and hopefully last, Owner wants it short, it can be cut. If she likes it long however, I don't want to make her wait for two years while it grows.

I perfer shorter. Having enough to hold in my fist is great but it honestly doesn't need to be long for that.

I've had partners with longer hair.

Never one with no hair or very little -- that's neither turns me on or off.

I prefer long hair - at least shoulder-length - but any length is really all right, as long as it looks good. However, shaved heads just don't do it for me. I'm all about the hair and eyes.

His hair needs to go with his style more than anything.
If he is a conservative person who dresses in suits often and spends time shaking hands with the mayor, he's probably going to look best clean cut. If he's a Columbian gangster, he's probably going to look good with a long, slicked back ponytail. If he's a Jamaican free-spirit barefoot beachie, dreadlocks will look nice. If he's a gothic rebel, his hair might look neat in a green mohawk.
In general... I like dark hair and I like longer hair.
The only thing I really insist on though is that he keep it CLEAN.

It is all about what is under the hair/lack of . I prefer enough to grab tightly a hold of and make him look me in the eye so I know he can Hear what I am saying. It matters little, the length, if I can get a good grip but I do prefer it longer if possible. Pony tails do offer much....Clean is a Must.....

If this key factor is lacking in any way than nothing else matters. With that being said bald/shaved, short, long it's all good. Clean hair is a must. Some men with shaved/bald heads are drop dead gorgeous. Makes kissing and rubbing their heads so much fun.

All can have an advantage during a scene. Bald can be just as much fun as long hair...I'll keep the thoughts to myself.

No two snowflakes are the same. Ok so I've not had my coffee quota for today. But I enjoy the variety each sub/slave is unique and have unique features and personality so I look for what in them that I like and go that way. I dont want them to fit into a mold unless is a submissive mold. So hair I dont really have a preference as long as it looks good and well maintaned same with the bald head clean and scalp being taken care of.

I think they should either have hair or not LOL ok I"ll be serious. After getting to know what's in the head under hair/no hair part of my decision depends on: hair quality, amount, style, work situation, and looks.

I like to have a handfull in order to pull/play with. Longer hair is good for bondage/holding a sub in place/for mulitple Doms to have fun with. Shaved heads are good if it's sooo much better then the tufts around the ears/back. Also having a sub shave their hair might be used as a punishment [severe for sure in my book]. I also take into account weather....it get cold where I live and heat escapes through the head, therefore hats would have to be worn which can be sexy and stylish. Hair/heads should always be kept clean. It's nice to have hair that can be styled as female for a male sub when you want to feminize...or for a trans m-f.

It would be something that enhances their attraction to me. My pet wears his hair short. And I love it. But there is one sub with whom I've played and he started growing it long. I enjoy it that way because I discovered that I enjoyed pulling his hair and using that almost like a leash to dorect where I want him to go.

Of course me choosing someone has to depend on the person...since I'm guessing you are asking about our "dream" preferences.....

I like the biker and rocker types, so I love long hair...I like to have it at least to their shoulders. Some guys look good with shaved heads...ala Vin Diesel...but shaved is not my thing. I love to have something to run my fingers through and to grab hold his head back and deliver a hard mistress kiss......woof...is it getting hot in here?...lol

I think it really depends on the individual. Some guys look better with short hair, some with long, and some shaved.

That being said, I am looking for a sub who will also be My companion and would therefore need to attend business functions with Me. That's why I prefer the clean-cut, business-like look for My personal submissive.

I do find long hair very attractive on some people, but it wouldn't fit in with My lifestyle for a personal submissive or slave.

You make a good point. I'm fine with a wilder look for the boy I'm playing with at a party but I would require a clean cut, very vanilla looking guy for public or business functions. It has a certain extra hotness factor if he is vanilla looking and acting and is wearing a chastity device and I have the keys or I know he is bearing my heel marks on his chest under his dress shirt.
