We are still in a holding pattern over Cali's arrival date(plane issues) so everybody say a prayer to whatever Gods/Goddesses you believe in for said plane part to be delivered and installed ASAP!

I needs my Cali!!!!!!!

Plus she's the one making the apple orgasm cake!

Chatte is in charge of apetizers and oh my, Artichoke/spinach/cheeses dip with homemade dipping bread and freshly made hummus with pitas YUMMMM!

Hibbie. Mummy is coming visit with everybody. Plus he is coming with all his Mummy making gear to demo it to whoever is interested in learning how to do the wrapping or use some of his rather unique latex items. They consist of a very soft, moist cakey cookie, resembling a very soft non-crumbly shortbread....and then it has this THICK rich hard cake frosting piled on top of it.  This time of year they can be hard to find...and the local grocers marked the price up to $7 a box but worth every single penny.  (almost a buck a cookie)    But they are SOOOO good and you can only get them here, although I heard that some delis in NYC now carry them.  They look gross but damn they're good.  You can't eat more than 2 or 3 of them at a sitting.... I put away 8 of them once on a dare but I swore off them for about three years after that! lol.




OMG, you are bringing Bergers? And what pray tell are you bringing everybody else cause the Bergers are MINE!!!!!!

I love the things! Psstttt a pack of Jelly Krimpets would be welcome too, ok, now I'm just being a pig!

Oh, yes, we need an activities planned list;

Gossipping
Hugging
Cooking (stealing Cali's cake recipe)(stealing Chatte's dip recipe)
Football/Parade watching(I MUST see Santa arrive at the end of Macy's parade, my signal to start Xmas up)
Crafting, I have all the stuff to make miniature sleighs for Cali's and Angel of Deadly's kids and anybody else who is interested
Horseback riding and a visit to the 4H farm for anybody who wants to go. (Cali's youngest is just dying to meet a real horse)
A visit to the countys livery stables
A visit to the go cart track
A day of beauty at the local beauty shop for manis/pedis/hotwax soaks for hands(My GF in town owns the place)
And on Saturday a trip into the town square for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, if the rain quits long enough for the Sheriffs office to get the lights hung
(Possibly some scening in either the heated back garage which is apart from the house and locked)

(I didn't want to mention it b/c I know it's touch n go right now, but hopefully the Turkey Gods are looking favorably on our feast and we all get some Cali face time.)

I so wish I could bundle everyone up and bring them with me to Oldhen's. Not just those regulars I know I like, but the ones I (kinda) dislike, too. I bet a great talk over some mulled cider and great food would resolve most, if not all, of our differences.

Alas, it's not something I can make happen. But all of you will be in my thoughts this Holiday season.
