Any other dog enthusiasts?

I am getting a house full today and as my heathens begin to show up they come with their beasts; an assortment of rotties, timber-shepherds, terriers, labs and the like.  I have wrestled and played with these dogs since they were pups and one of the signals I would give them of play time was to gently bite their ear ... there are several now that when they want to play with me they try to force their ear in my face (mouth).  As I write this I've got a rottie and a terrier both trying this ploy to get me to play ... its working.  Bye for now.

One of my dog's favorite games is to catch me "stealing" his stuff. =p If he has a chewie, he'll come out, lay it down and sort of act like he doesn't know I'm there, and pretend to not pay attention. =p If I don't get it right away, he'll give me the "I'm inside your mind, trying to get you to do what I want" stare, until I notice. =p

So I'll creep over and slooooooooooowly reach out towards whatever the thing is, and then jump back when he looks at me. =p Keep doing that until he gets all excited and starts "moofing" at me. =p Then he'll run over and wrestle.

Another way, is just to get on the ground and mimic a lot of his own play behaviors. I've had him for 10, going on 11 years, so I've gotten really familiar with the things that set him off. =p

Oh, and he also likes to be shoved around. =p If I take him to the park and start pushing him, he'll start dancing around and then take off running, and go, and go until he gets tired. Then he'll come back and stand really close like "do it again!" =p It's so funny.

He also won't eat Milkbones or things like that until you harass him with them. I think he likes to "get mad" at them and then kill them. =p So you poke him in the face, bop him on the nose, or poke his legs, put it on his head, just generally be REALLY annoying. If you hand him a Milkbone without doing those things, he'll drop it and look at you like "what exactly am I expected to do with this?" Or he'll bring it over and put it in your lap. =p

My 4 dogs and I have all kinds of little games we play. My favorite is " dog imitations", where I manipulate their face and ears to mimic certain breeds. Silly, fun fun. I can't imagine life without the little darlings (actually they aren't that little).

Whatever would we do without our critters?!

My husky used to get upset when strange men kissed me, let alone spanked me. I'd love to have another dog, and am wondering if this is a common issue and how people deal with it.

Dogs don't see our kind of kinky play as play, so we try to keep the dogs as far away from that as possible.

My Lhasa apso likes to "prance" and dance around when I come in from being out. She also sings to me, as does one of the Cairns. The other cairn likes to play keep away with his squeekers. Although they're getting older and don't play as much as they used to.

xxblushesxx is right -- they don't see that as "haha she's having a great time." They see it as you're possibly being threatened/attacked, and they don't like it. My dog is low-key but he'll flip out if he thinks something bad is happening to me, so if my friend is at my house, I keep my doggie separate from it. He's like my kid, haha -- I feel creepy doing something with him in the room, anyway. I'm usually at my friend's house, though, so it's not a problem.

My dogs are very protective, that is their job.  When I engaged in kinky play with someone they didn't know, I kenneled them outside or in crates.

When I last had a slave our dogs would get very worked up when we casually played especially if she began to squeal and thrash about but if we were going to be intimate in a less than casual manner it was necessary to remove the pack from the room.

I didn't worry much for her and the children when I wasn't there as these dogs were fiercely protective and loved their humans.

Last night I had the pleasure of having a goodly number of beasts with which to play.  I think when I have reached some settled point in my life I am definitely getting a few of my own.  I miss the companionship.  Several folks and doggies are staying over for a few days and most everyone has gone off hunting as this is our first day of rifle season for deer.  I will have playmates for a while.

If I had had a video camera I could have just won the funniest video prize ... Anubis a very speedy little terrier managed to snag the squeaky ball from the rest and immediately fled ... she was cornered at the couch by Baloo a rather hoppy rottweiler ... when he couldn't immediately get it from her he took her head in his mouth and when he would squeeze down it made the ball squeak as if her head were squeaking with each compression ... I was howling with laughter

I guess I know where I stand in the pack.    My dog lays quietly and sometimes sleeps while Miss spanks my ass.

That struck me as funny and gave a nice giggle, thank you.

Dogs here going crazy as there is a deer being skinned and quartered out back.
