Status: offline 		This is all just another symptom of the rights displeasure with having Romney as their standard bearer...they are cycling thru alternatives and the flavor of the month(week or two) is now Gingrich,at the end of the day it will be Romney and the base will be suitably unenthused.
Obama's team is sure of this,watch any of the Sunday morning news shows,no matter who is the current flavor ,White House spokesman will always steer the conversation back to Romney( and his lack of any core at all ) they firmly believe,and I think they are right on this,when all is said and done it will be Mitt....and health care is off the table as an issue....despite every attept from Mitts camp to make it an issue...the independent voter( other than pops) just isn't going to buy that from Mitt.

Will is 100% correct in his assessment of Gingrinch. Gingrich is the embodiment of what he himself says he despises...the liberal, cultural, political elitist who writes books telling the world everybody else is wrong and only he is right.

Being divorced twice, living in a very posh DC suburb, writing those books, inflating his work and contributions, making millions, almost smugly bestowing his wisdom upon us, Gingrinch hates the...very thing he has become.

The ultimate political opportunist, he has parleyed his speaker-ship and but kicking by Clinton into a caricature of infamy...now the Paris Hilton of politics, famous only because he is famous.

Anybody, including Gingrich, who thinks occupiers are nothing but lazy, out of work bums, is an idiot.  Yes, there are some unemployed people involved and they are the people who generally hold down the fort while the rest of us are off doing what we need to do--like work at my jobs, cook a meal or 2 a week for the occupiers and generally support those who have the time and inclination to sleep in the cold, borrow a shower from a local downtown agency and eat donated food--some days not getting a single hot meal.

Actually, Gingrich's attitude is almost perfectly parallel to that of a lot of conservatives during the Vietnam War protesters.  The comparison between those protesters and the OWS ones is eerie in many ways.
