What a great several day visit!
We did a beautiful coastal hike and attended a small, intimate jazz concert of some of my band-members/neighbors. The tallship Lady Washington was in port; we went aboard to ogle all the mountains of rigging. Later, from the top of our hiking vantage point we watched her under full sail headed down the coast. He has friends in the area; we met them at a pre-Thanksgiving community dinner and enjoyed getting acquainted. He got to know several of my friends/neighbors and we hit all my favorite local restaurants.
We're both seasoned musicians/sailors so we stayed up late every night playing music and swapping sea stories. As far as lifestyle compatibility: perfect blend of FLR while remaining capably alpha outside D/s. Though neither of us are bdsm rookies, it was fun trying some new things.
Only fly in the ointment: he's allergic to the kittehs. OF COURSE they simply loved him and wouldn't leave him alone. He was a real trooper and sucked it up with Benedryl at the ready. By day four, he had only sneezed three times. Even if there hadn't been a kinky connection, he's a funny, easy-going helpful guy who's enjoyable to be with in all the vanilla ways.
He makes a wonderful addition to the Lair. I think I'll keep him. Thank you, CM!
