This story gets more and more bizarre.

Currently there are 4 different investigations. PA, Penn State, NCAA and now the FBI.

The FBI is looking for the former DA who dropped the initial charges in 1998. While I didnt initially see the politics wrapped up in this, I think its becoming more apparent as the investigations continue.

With the case now bubbling to the surface, is it possible Gricar had changed his mind by April 15, 2005, the day he disappeared, and decided there was now enough evidence to prosecute? Gricar had other high profile cases ongoing and one can not rule out the possibility of foul play as a result of any case he was pursuing.

Hopefully DA Gricar is still alive and well somewhere. If anyone seees him, they should contact the FBI with any information they might have regarding him

Apparently he was possibly seen in Texas not too long ago.

The victims keep coming out... now from as long ago as the 70's.

While it may be possible this DA is missing because of other cases, why is it just now that they are actively looking for him?

Penn State has requested former FBI Director Louis Freeh to head their own investigation. Seems his tenure was.. well...rocky, per the following article ...

Does anyone see an end to this mess?

My problem is with Penn State it self.

They are a pretty selfish bunch. They had to gave their game.Couldn`t postpone it a couple weeks.Rioted over the firings.

One of the narratives there, is how this happened TO Penn State.

Like THEY are the victims in this mess!

Would anyone be shocked to know that Gov Corbett was given the case when he was State Attorney General, but because he was a member of the board of trustees at Penn State?

Yes, you will hear stories about how he was "torn" and "couldnt say anything" about the case he was well aware of before the media shit storm hit.

What you wont hear is how there was only one investigator assigned to this case before Corbett became Governor.

Gov. Tom Corbett took the case on a referral from the Centre County district attorney, Michael Madeira, in early 2009 while he was serving as attorney general. Maderia said he referred the report to state prosecutors because of an "indirect connection" to Sandusky's family, but he declined to specify his tie to the Sandusky family.

..........

The Patriot-News of Harrisburg reported Monday that only one trooper was assigned to the case after the state took it over in 2009. It wasn't until Corbett became governor early this year that his former investigations supervisor in the attorney general's office, Frank Noonan, became state police commissioner and put seven more investigators on it, the newspaper said.

Noonan's spokeswoman, Maria Finn, said Tuesday that manpower was increased in the case this year, but she could not confirm the numbers reported by the newspaper.

People here are questioning why it took so long and are there victims between the time of this investigation and the arrest.

All the hallmarks of corruption polluting justice.
Justice delayed is justice denied ...and in this case adds up to more victims, hence more lives tarnished.
Fuck them all...and by that I mean ANYONE who had knowledge and did nothing,or simply dragged their feet along the way.

70's till now. Such a long time. Recently a victim reported that he was forced to leave school because he was bullied about these incidents.
