It is raining so hard in the Northwest that roads in some counties are flooding (should be a fun winter).  Here is a video of some intrepid salmon trying to swim up a road.  I guess they will do anything to spawn.

Holey moley!  I was just sitting here wondering if I had hit some time warp.  We are having damn thunderstorms right now, and it was so humid today I finally gave up and turned the ac back on.

I think I will quit whining about the rain now though, at least til the bass start swimming up the driveway!

They are pretty amazing.  I don't know where it thought it was going.  If you were going to help it, it might be better to redirect it to the waterway.  I would have been pretty tempted to give it a helping hand into my cooler, if I had been the guy in the truck.

judging from the film it does look like they are getting the idea that they can't get anywhere and turning back. but yes i'd have turned him around lol

poor buggas, like their job isn't hard enough already, not only is there are detor that wasn't there last year, but also some interfering busy body trying to tell you where to go lol

I would have been happy to help the poor little guy by liberating him from that cold dirty water.  It would be like a rescue mission.  I would then help him get warm by putting him in my oven.  I am such an animal lover.
