That's not shit erie, the oil spill is more popular.

But in one moment I wonder how much money was spent and who got it to run a poll to find out how popular the oil spill was. To me this does not seem to be a very productive activity, really.

And then I wonder : What if they're right ? That sixteen percent of the people actually favor an oil spill.

Now who here actually favors a fucking oil spill, really ?

T^T

People who own shares in oil companies and want the prices to hit the roof?

Just a guess.

And of course every leftist is a self anointed, self righteous authority on what "the majority" want

Think about it

They claim (quite laughably) to represent "the 99%"

You may want to stand on "principal" The majority want to work.

You might want to go back and reread post 7. I know it was in reply to 59 but it covers both of you and a few more

Indeed it does. I only catch splash over from Sanity when other people quote him, but the extremist are some of the ones I have removed from my forum reality. If it were only so easy in congress though.

The more incendiary an issue is, the more compromise and finding common ground is important, to effect a solution. This is where I get pissed at the cheerleaders. It is kind of like when you separate two people that were in a fist fight, you are getting them to calm down and talk, then a few start chanting "Fight, Fight, fight." because that is really all they are interested in.

The problem I have is that I do not see any solutions, because of the mentality of those involved in politics.

We need conservatives, liberals, and everything in between to get as many perspectives as possible when working on a solution. We need honest, intellectual discourse on these issues to discuss all the possible solutions. Those that detract from this route, are as much a problem as anything, because they are not pushing for a solution, but for a fight.

No, compromise is how shit breathed idiots and shallow mindless knuckle draggers got us into this mess

Everyone driving down the middle with no firm principles is a sure recipe for disaster, and here we are

Tell me sanity. When you're walking down the sidewalk and someone is coming the other way, do you bull ahead untill you crash into them or do you move over a bit (compromise)?

You might want to go back and read post nine, which was written in direct response to post seven before climbing on your high rocking horse herman, or pee wee, or whoever that little cartoon baby whose persona youve assumed is supposed to be

The disaster we`re in is because the neo-cons drove us into a ditch.

Nothing to do with compromising.

I never wrote that its my fault, Bush was way too liberal of a spender though

How is that

On fiscal matters he compromised with the left every day and what did it get him, where did it get us

For much the same reason it is kind of good that McCain lost, and that more of a true leftist took the helm, finished driving us into the ditch, cuddling up with his uber wealthy snugglebug banker lobby buds

The world economy was doing fine...... before you cons ruined it.

Casting your blame on others isn`t very manly.

The world prays that you losers never get into a position to do it again.

bush and you cons put the world`s economy into recession......everyone knows that.

The economy is global and interconnected......everyone knows that too.

Google it,you may learn something.

And now that the shit is hitting the fan, they are pussying out like losers.

Your definition for leadership is not to lead but rather take a pass.

This is why an oil spill is more popular.

Yeah, everyone knows that. Jimmy Carters Community Reinvestment Act had nothing to do with it, Congressional Dems had nothing to do with it, unaffordable entitlement programs and union demands had nothing to do with any of this...

You can rest easy tonight, knowing that everyone is drinking the same Kool-Aide that you are, owner.

someone here obviously failed to notice that the Soviet Union ceased to exist some decades ago - or most European countries have or had conservative governments lately ...
things seem to look very simple watched from Idaho
and the space left to the left seems almost world-wide ...

holy simplicity
