What a delightful thread Pam, thank you! There are so many things in my life I am thankful for. Most of all, my family. Especially my kids, their kids, and the knuckle head sitting across the room from me. All of the people that have touched my life. Every single one. The way my life has evolved from lost and dirt poor, not comfortable in my own skin to less poor and very happy with me. My health and strength, both mentally and physically. The way my brain works. It used to cause me a lot of problems, still does on occasion, but now that I recognize it's oddities, I've learned to see it as positive rather than negative. Humour, in myself and others. There isn't much that happens I cannot find a way to get a laugh out of it.......if just for myself. Which ties into the strong thread of constant joy that always runs through my life. Even in times of great difficulty, I have joy. With those things.......everything else is possible.
