When Boeing, and BP, and Exxon, and all the railroads, the insurance industry, pharma,  Haliburton, Brown and Root  and USSteel and all others in turn have, I am sure we can get them to throw in a couple of bucks....

It doesn't make it right just because "a lot" of people or corporations do it.

It`s when all of a sudden it`s really really wrong.....after it`s never been a big deal before.....that`s the difference here.

How many BILLIONS did your shrub waste in Iraq, while you sat silently?

Your fast and furious poop is also going no-where.

Accept with the cool-aid drinkers.

Who don`t count b/c you`re not going to vote for President Obama anyway.

"Kool-Ade drinkers?"
I doubt the lefties like *anything* I have to say.
It's just fun tormenting them.

And, "all of a sudden it's really really wrong", ....was it ever "right?"

If Brian Harrison and W. G. Stover, the two Solyndra executives who took the Fifth Amendment at a Congressional hearing on Friday, ever spend a day in jail, I’ll stand on my head in Times Square.

It’s not going to happen, for one simple reason: neither they, nor anyone else connected with Solyndra, have done anything remotely criminal. The company’s recent bankruptcy — which the Republicans are now rabidly “investigating” because Solyndra had the misfortune to receive a $535 million federally guaranteed loan from the Obama administration — was largely brought on by a stunning collapse in the price of solar panels over the past year or so.

Ah yes, another piece of cow dung quoted by someone that has zero knowledge of how businesses operate or how bankruptcy works. You should start by educating yourself on the payment priorities under the US bankruptcy code and compare it to the Solyndra.

There isnt a single one who holds office who wouldnt have done the same thing. You are mistaking understanding the nasty side of politics with me supporting it... and nothing could be farther from the truth.
Wrong.

The corruption in the Obama adminstration doesnt make these two executives criminals. They didnt

LOL.  Well, maybe you and sanity can be embarrassed for us again, you did a good job on that last unremarkable and unmemorable whatever it was you guys were embarrassed for us about last time.  Kudos to your red faces.

I asked you a question. Do you expect convictions out of any of this?
I will gladly answer. Yes, I do - just not whom you think. A person or persons convicted or pleading guilty in next 5-7 years will be someone in government that did something highly specific, highly illegal and most likely gained something for doing that. And no, it was not a person approving the loan.

Not a scandal eh? Ok, cool, then Solyndra and it's board of directors shouldn't have any problems returning that money to the U.S. Treasury,.....right?
Getting warmer!

Solyndra's BOD cannot return money to the US Treasury even if it wanted and even if it had the money... Care to figure out why?

Btw, I quit bitching when Chrysler got away with bankruptcy without paying back $1.6 billion. Its politics as usual.
It demonstrates you do not understand how bankruptcy works in the US.

$1.6 billion? More like $7 billion. And of course the Chrysler bankruptcy wasnt a standard US bankruptcy to begin with, With Obama gifting 55% of the company to the UAW and telling the secured credit holders to go fuck themselves.

Oh please do tell me what I do not understand. Im sure it will be completely fascinating.

Actually, instead of insinuations, why dont you come right out and say what you are hinting about. Plausible deniability later on is such a cowards way out.

The "This" is the Hearings going on right now. And you expect these men to be convicted... nice. Yet not for another 5 - 7 years. Interesting.

What difference does that make? Total strawman.

The administration in power, that holds sway over their fucking jobs, pushed them to approve it. WTF do you think any panel is going to do?

In fact, if anything it is more damning if it WAS the same panel that wouldnt approve it after 2 years of study, but did an about face as soon as Obama stepped in.

Thanks for the support.

talking of strawmen, how the hell do you get that they took two years to review the situation, try two months.

Then again maths was never your best subject was it.

Why else do ya think the Libs all want FREE healthcare -- it's gotta be EXPENSIVE to treat such a severe mental illness as Liberalism?!!
