Because of the times we've talked, I wouldn't think you were implying anything bad! I didn't mean to come off defensive because I wasn't there. Frustrated maybe... giving up a bit, sure... but not thinking anything close to that! lol

We do what we can, when we can and I don't mean that as a glib answer of excuse for not doing things. Sometimes it seriously comes down to doing only what you can because there are limitations.

What were the previous minimum sentances for sex crimes against UM's?

I find it hard to believe that they lowered the minimum penalty for such horriffic acts.

And for some silly reason you are pretending that raping an UM would recieve a minimum sentance.......

THis is the first time there was a mandatory minimum sentanceing law in Canada.

Liberals and Bew Democrats opposed it.

there were no Minimums untill the recent law passed, which was opposed by Liberals and New Democrats.

It's my opinion after navigating the divorce courts and the agencies associated (so easily set upon those on the underdog side of a pitched battle that this neglect or rather lack of justice stretches well outside the world of this dark shit and into the basic areas of child safety and prevention of neglect.
