Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.

With a 5-lb potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.

Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato bags.

Then try 50-lb potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.)

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.

Uhmmmm.....'scuze me but....I've read your whole thing here and.....well.....this involves holding things upright.....an exponential of energy and such.....you do realize this requires effort?

For those over 40, its bags of yarn.

So far, I am up to 2 skeins each....

Assume a seated position at the table with your feet planted firmly on the floor.

Turn on Monday night football and grasp a full 12 oz beer bottle in each hand. Alternately lift each bottle to your lips and drink approximately 1 oz then set the bottle down and repeat with the other hand. When said bottles are empty, replace with 2 new ones for another 'set'.

Keep this up for the entire 17 week NFL season and by playoffs you should be able to graduate to 25 oz Fosters Oil cans for the Super Bowl.

I have been doing this for years and My biceps are now 18".
