I am ready to take an OX-Acetylene Welding Class in the local community college and want to make custom made bondage equipment out of mild steel and later if possible stainless. Right now I am just starting and have two options black finish on all metal parts, chains, cuffs or basically polished mild steel. (Make the slave do the tedious work of polishing to a mirror finish) I also know of some real good locations where bamboo is available to make good cains.

Cool. The only thing I can't do is weld. I have a small milling machine and a lathe, and a few other things. Shoot me some drawings if you need something made. T^T

Take a course in electric (Mig/Tig) welding rather than gas (oxy-acetylene).

I think most welding is "electric" and use gas ;) (Tig- tungsten innert gas) Did you mean with electric..electrode? (putting an coated electrode directly to the metal) http://www.stellite.co.uk/WeldingProcesses/TIGOxyAcetylene/tabid/70/Default.aspx
