My first top had a real thing for Prince. He used to play "raspberry beret" while we were in his dungeon. I still can't listen to that song without getting a funny smile on my face.

For myself, it kind of varies according to the scene, but I find movie soundtracks are good. They're designed to be part of the action rather than a centerpiece, and they run a gamut of genres. I myself find that the "Conan the Barberian" soundtrack is great for flogging, wrestling, or anything particularly active. It's got a great beat and I can slay to it!

yes I like to use one album but its because of one song on it. the song is " Mothers Little Jewel " by Mott the Hoople it starts with this rythmic cowbell and David Bowie going " This is your friendly neibhorhood Sadist, I want to take you for a ride " it just seems to start it all off right for me the album is MOTT

Actually that song is on the album "All The Young Dudes" by Mott The Hoople. It is a great song on a great album. I love the line "Two tiny purple hands crawling across the floor. All I could hear was a voice saying more, more, more!"

Well, back in the 80's, the music of choice for play parties was a bood mix of ZZ Top, Aerosmith and My personal favourite, Eurythmics!

I cannot hear Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (are Made of These" without remembering parties at The Probe in L.A.! And of course "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top. Guns 'n' Roses' album Appetite for destruction had a few great numbers and also Def Leppard.

My fondest memory, though, was the San francisco Society of Janus' habit of ending parties with the Disco mix of the Hallelujah Chorus!

Now *that* was *WHIPPIN'* music!!

I have *always* wanted to do a video with a mix of Tom Lehrer's "Masochism Tango" and Spike Hones' "You Always Hurt the One You Love" and syncopated ass-whacks!

Toccata and Fugue in D by JS Bach, played on organ, with a pair of 1,000 Watt speakers and an underground dungeon, when I visit Malaga. Shades of Torquemada.

The Whipping reel when I visit my Matron, who is very fast and free with a whip.

Regards,

Radiohead;Okay Computer or Kid 'A'
Apocalyptica (Metallica played on cellos and violins... really quite cool)
Nine Inch Nails
... and Enigma in clubs is good too.

But silence is great. Not that it actually IS silent, it's just there is no mucis. No one has complained yet.
