Obfuscate much? [:D]

He is forbidden from practicing law before the Supreme Court as well...

But not a single leftist in the land can possibly understand why...

Do you believe that, do you think thats why BJ Clinton was disbarred as a lawyer?

Because he got a bj?  [:D]

What are they teaching kids in schools these days anyway...

His license was suspended (disbarred) for 5 years in Arkansas.
They did not give a reason.

My understanding is that he doesn't need to chase ambulances to buy groceries anymore.  I doubt he bothered picking it back up in 2005.

As are you or I since we do not hold a license.
That is a matter of routine, if you are disbarred by the state you hold your license, you are disbarred from practicing before SCOTUS in a routine administrative decision.

Like if you lose your Oregon Drivers License, you automatically lose the right to drive our nations highway in any other state, or on federal roads.

Nothing fuckin magical or veiled from truth here.

Your attempt to insinuate an obfuscation is obfuscatory.

Sanity -> RE: Gingrich's record (12/3/2011 9:00:49 AM)

Right... "routine".

Happens to former presidents all the time, practically...  [:D]

Sanity -> RE: Gingrich's record (12/3/2011 9:04:04 AM)

Oh, so it wasnt over a bj...

Thatll do tazzy, thatll do [:)]

Clinton agreed to the Arkansas suspension and a $25,000 fine on the day before his presidency as ended part of a settlement ending the investigation into whether he offered misleading testimony in the Jones case. Those allegations led to the exposure of Clinton's affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky, his 1998 impeachment by the House of Representatives and subsequent acquittal by the U.S. Senate.

As is its custom, the Supreme Court offered no explanation for the order. Court observers said such suspensions nearly always lead to permanent disbarments.

Clinton can apply to be reinstated to practice before the Supreme Court at a later date.

Well your boy tricky dicky resigned his license before he was disbarred, so leaving the realities behind, so yeah, its not common.

Lincoln would have been disbarred for his peccadillos in Maryland and a couple other shennanigans if it had been the turn of the 20th century or so.

But the common sanity derail is of no consequence as usual.

Gingrich is a dick with a piss poorly shameful record.

tazzygirl -> RE: Gingrich's record (12/3/2011 9:13:07 AM)

Actually, Nixon was disbarred.

Justice Markewich was the justice presiding on the panel of Appellate Division judges that in 1976 disbarred Richard M. Nixon in New York State after Mr. Nixon's resignation as President in 1974 because of the Watergate scandal.

The panel found Mr. Nixon guilty of violating the New York State Code of Professional Responsibility for lawyers. As the historian Stephen E. Ambrose wrote in the third volume of his biography "Nixon" (Simon & Schuster, 1991), "This was the first time Nixon had been found guilty by an official party of charges relating to Watergate." Violating a Code

The only President to have been disbarred.

So you are telling us that the Clintons were on the same level as you see Nixon

And as always, the derail is yours, mnot

Owner59 -> RE: Gingrich's record (12/3/2011 10:53:25 AM)

So who brought up Clinton in a Newty thread and why?

Just the fact that newty was having affairs while going after the president over sex makes him the asshole.

What was he thinking as he boned up and stuck it in, inbetween lecturing the nation on morality and trying to impeach our president?

Ron Pauls antinewty advert....

Has there ever been any real doubt that Gingrich is a scumbag?

Lucylastic -> RE: Gingrich's record (12/3/2011 11:18:57 AM)

sorry , wasnt posting to you:)
Well Gingrich has one less opponent
Has anyone seen the piece maddow did on the fox endorsement regarding him?
while I take most of it with a pinch of salt, it added a certain interest for me.
Romney isnt fox's choice, Gingrich is. it wil be interesting to see if ailes "choice" becomes the nominee, or if he has lot too much credibility over the years with the party itself.

I read something earlier this morning that called Newt "THE compassionate conservative"
I think it means the same thing:)
