He's apparently having to wait for an ear infection to clear up before he goes to his new placement, and every time I walk in the kennel and he see's me he jumps up and down and begins whining and scratching at the door of his cage. No doubt he's thinking hey! hey! that's the nice lady I like, i wonder if she'll take me home again. It hurts my heart when he does that.

Thank you both. I admit I had thought I might keep him, and he was such a joy to have here, but I can step aside if someone can do better for him than I can, but I'm gonna be sad for a good while.
